Who runs this site

Abolish Property Tax (abolishpropertytax.com) is operated by RFT Media. When this page says “we,” it means RFT Media.

What we collect

The calculator runs in your browser. The county, districts, and home value you enter are not sent to us or stored.

If you sign up for email, we collect your email address and, if you used the calculator, the county you chose. You’re added to the list only after you click the confirmation link we send.

Our server sees your IP address with each request. We use it only to limit repeated signups and keep it in memory, not in a database.

How we use it

We email you property tax protest dates, news about tools for your county, and RFT Media’s commentary on abolishing the property tax. We don’t sell or rent your information, and the site runs no advertising trackers.

Who else handles it

Our email goes through Mailgun, which stores the list and delivers the messages for us. The site is hosted on servers RFT Media operates.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click. To have your information deleted, write to help@rftmedia.com.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and its date.
